Ingredients:
- 8 oz about 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup crab meat, canned or imitation, drained and chopped
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 24 wonton wrappers
- Oil for frying
- Sweet and sour sauce for dipping
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped crab meat, green onions, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, sugar, salt, and black pepper
Mix until well combined
Place a small amount of the cream cheese mixture about 1 tablespoon in the center of each wonton wrapper
Wet the edges of the wonton wrapper with water and fold it diagonally to create a triangle, pressing the edges to seal the dumpling
Heat oil in a deep skillet or pot to 350F 175C
Carefully place the crab rangoon dumplings in the hot oil and fry until they turn golden brown, usually about 2-3 minutes per side
Remove the dumplings from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil
Serve hot with sweet and sour sauce for dipping
Enjoy your homemade Crab Rangoon Dumplings!
